Here is the method:
1. With the permanent marker I labelled the packages of popcorn as follows: "freezer" 1 through 5 "refrigerator" 1 through 5 "counter" 1 through 5
2. I placed the 5 bags labelled: "freezer" in the freezer "refrigerator" in the freezer "counter" on the counter
3. I watied 24 hours before continuing on
4. I took the first bag of popcorn out of the freezer, placed it in the microwave and popped it for 80 seconds. I waited 2 seconds after the timer beeped.
5. I then spread the entire contents onto the cookie sheet and counted the number of popped and unpopped kernels and recorded the information.
6. I then repeated steps 4 through 5 for the popcorn stored on the counter and in the refrigerator.
