Purpose
The purpose of this experiment is to see if there are DNA-based differences between the Xap isolates from different geographical areas. If there were differences between the Xap isolates, there would be a lower chance of one resistance gene being able to successfully control the blight in several different regions.
It is also to see if there are correlations between the aggressivity or lesion area of the isolates and the DNA.
