Materials

Water container, Water, Metal Sheet, Plastic container,
Bulb,Tape, Metal rod, Magnets, Plastic cylinder, Copper wire
Water controller,Stand,Hose Pipe

Method

Making wheel and water collector
• Take any big plastic container.
• Cut and remove the bottom part of it.
• Turn it upside down.
• Put two holes on the side of this container.
• Put a metal rod through one hole in the container
• Put a wheel through the rod inside the container
• Now put the metal rod through the other hole.
• Make sure the metal rod goes through the two holes
 of the container

Making electricity generator and circuit
• In the one end of metal rod, attach two magnets tightly.
• Wind the copper wire on the plastic cylinder.
• Adjust and place the magnet portion of the metal rod
 inside the small plastic cylinder.
• Connect the bulb to the two ends of the copper wire.
Making water source
• Take a container with controller to control the flow of the water.
• Place this container above the wheel.

Procedure

• Allow the water from the water source to fall on the wheel.
•  Check whether the bulb attached to the copper wire is working.
• Now change the speed of falling water and observe the changes
in the brightness of the bulb.

Observations

• When I allowed the water to fall on the wheel, it started rotating and also the bulb started glowing.
• When I increased the speed of the water flow, brightness of the bulb increased.
