Title of project: The Gear Powered Ferris Wheel

Synopsis: Our project consists of two section, an "A" section (the teeter totter and gear) and a "B" section (the Ferris wheel and pulley). The teeter totter is attached to a gear which turns a pulley connecting to the ferris wheel. 2 to 4 people can ride the teeter totter and maximum 16 people on the ferris wheel. We chose to make a gear powered ferris wheel because it incorporates many simple machines like pulleys, wheels and axles, levers and screws.
