Introduction

 

  Molds are a type of plant called fungi. Some kinds you can actually eat.  There are molds in bread, soy sauce, tempeh (fermented tofu), and cheese. I like the blue cheese and it has lots of mold in it! Other  kinds of mold are poisonous or at least can make you sick if you eat them or breathe them. They live almost everywhere and come in lots of different colors.

In this project I wanted to grow lots of different colors and shapes of molds.  I was looking forward to being surprised by what grew.
