Purpose
- To
investigate the major causes of oxidation in Jatropha oil.
- To
investigate ways of retarding the oxidation process in Jatropha Oil. This would
include using chemical additives in different proportions as well as
antioxidants.
Hypothesis
-
If a
sample of Jatropha oil is exposed to high temperatures and oxygen, then the
oxidation stability of the oil would decrease.

If
chemical additives and antioxidants are added to Jatropha Oil in different
proportions, then the oxidation process of the oil would be retarded.
