Technology has produced a variety of different ways to communicate whether it’s using e-mail, websites, instant messaging, chat rooms or text messaging. There has been a major increase in cyber bullying due to technology because it has made it easier for kids to bully without getting caught. Cyber bullies do not have to own their action, as it is usually very difficult to identify them for they no longer have to face their victims face to face. It is evident in numerous articles, television shows and magazines that cyber bullying is becoming a serious issue. There have even been many court cases that have resulted from severe cyber bullying. Due to this, we hope to determine what form of cyber bullying is most frequently used and which gender is more likely to be bullied between urban and rural areas.
