A Summary of Project:
In my experiment, Image Compression Vs. Image Quality I tested to
see if students in our school can notice the difference between a
PNG, TIFF, JPG, JPG 50% , and JPG 25%. I noticed on the first set of
data most people chose the right one (PNG), also in the first set I
noticed that most people chose the least quality on the hall photo.
In the second choice most people chose the wrong one. For the third
choice most people got it right. Along with the fourth choice not
many people chose the right one. And for the fifth choice most
people chose the right one. Thus concluding that most people can’t
tell the difference between very high quality and in-between
compression, but most people can notice the difference on a low
quality photo.
