1.     Select a set of images for each image quality

2.     Compress photos using Photoshop to a image quality of:

Ø     100%

Ø     50%

Ø     25%

Ø     JPG’s can only be compressed

3.     Print the images, labeling them on the back with a coded name. The test subject should not be able to match the coded names to the original ones. All of the images should be printed with the same paper type, printer and printer settings.

4.     Label the Front of the Photo as Sample #

5.     Have the subjects study the images, and arrange them in order of image quality from best to worst.

6.     Then make the Subjects to assign a quality score to the images, on a scale of 1–5. If two or more images appear the same rate them the same

7.     After all of the images have been rated, reveal the correct order.
