I decided I would test different amounts of baking soda and vinegar to see which would blow up the balloon the biggest.

My first experiment looked like this:

I stopped this experiment after the 3rd try. I kept getting holes in my balloon. That is when I decided I needed to modify a water bottle cap to make it easier to take the balloon on and off.
