Hypothesis
It is possible for people to use vibration to determine the direction and magnitude of sound.
Note: This project has three components. The first is research, where the idea for my project originated.
The second one is an engineering aspect, as I had to design and build a device that would achieve this goal, by translating sound into vibration. I had to do this on a very small budget, mostly using things that were lying around my house. Part of the engineering process was to write a program in Visual Basic 6.0 that would interpret the information coming from the microphone on my device.
The the third component was to use my device to test my hypothesis on some friends who volunteered to be guinea pigs and test rabbits.
