Hobo

The Hobo spider belongs to the the spider family Tegenaria. It is 12-18mm long.

It doesn't have fangs or poison sacs instead it has protuberances which people call boxing gloves.

It used to live in western Europe it was brought on cargo boats as egg cases attached to wood not live spiders. It is adapted to living in city areas, as far east as Washington and as far south as Corvallis, Oregon.

It is a aggressive spider because it poor eye sight. If you bitten by it you may have lesions which can last for years.
