Objective

The purpose of my project is to find the total amount of polyphenols, antioxidating power, microbial inhibition, and antimutagenic effects of four different types of tree bark found in Saskatchewan. There will be two separate experiments (each with three repetitions): one with heating the water used to extract the polyphenols at 50ºC, and one with boiling the water at 100ºC.
