Conclusion:

 We set out to build an airplane that would fly in sunlight under solar power alone. Our design was heavier than target, but additional solar cells permitted us to achieve thrust-to-weight target. The airplane demonstrated that it could get airborne, but due to turbulent winds and inconsistent sun, we could not achieve the long term flight we hoped for. We expect to be able to do so when suitable conditions are available.
