Summary: We wanted to see what effects mild steel more? Acids or Bases? So we devised a plan to see what effects mild steel more. We used vinegar as our acid and ammonia as our base and water as a neutral. We put each substance into a cup and also mixed them into another cup. We dipped the nails into each substance and left them for 24 hours, then checked them and dipped them in again. We did this for seven days.
