There were many things that I studied while I was doing this project, and also many things that I have yet to study, and to take this project to the next level. I think that there are many areas in this project that have theoretical and technical problems that need to be looked at. But, those are some of the same type of problems that Oppenhiemer had when he was trying to make the Atomic Bomb.
I could not give an amount of how much froth or bitumen will be produced if I heat the water up with the magnetron, this is because I could not actually deal with the magnetron tube myself. This is only another approach that could be used in today’s world of booming technologies.
Only recently, a new method of heating up water into steam was proposed, this involved nuclear energy. But the amount of nuclear energy that we use up to heat up just water could be spent on something else. But to use something as cheap as magnetron tubes, which could be extracted from a microwave, could save up a lot of other resources.
Last year, I experimented that, to extract oil from oil sands is also possible by using graphite rods. The graphite rods are connected to the electrical outlet. You can also observe the resistivity between the two graphite rods, which boils up the water. The water goes through the oil sands which in turn pour out some froth which floated to the top.
There was no precise calculation, but, about 2 ounces/ in less than 5 minutes.
