Conclusion
- I conclude that the link between Wind and Power is:
- The Wind Velocity, and about 20 km/h of wind speed is
required to light a LED,
- The Width and Number of the Propeller Blades affects the
efficiency of the Wind Turbine.
- Sources of Error
- First failure was to use a gearbox and an Electric Motor
as a Generator.
- There was too much friction in the gearbox and the
Magnets in the Motor were too strong (see Figure 8),
- Second failure was that I used washers to attach the
Magnets onto the Rotor.
- The Magnets spun off and the Rotor was too heavy with
both washers and Magnets, causing resistance.
