Drawbacks
Even though the air car itself produce no pollution or greenhouse gas emissions, the air is often compressed using electric compressors. The electricity that is used to power the compressors is sometimes generated by the combustion of fossil fuels, which releases greenhouse gases. However, power plants usually generate electricity more efficiently than standard ICE vehicles and can generate electricity in other cleaner methods, such as hydroelectric power and nuclear power.
