They compared monocoulture , without Clostridium acetobutylicum, and     coculture , with Clostridium acetobutylicum, of bacteria because the glycolytic clostridia, Clostridium acetobutylicum, cannot ferment     pentoses and hexoses. The resultes shows that cellulolysis is more activated with the presence of Clostridium acetobutylicum. [ix]

    According to this data, the highest percentage of ethanol production was 5.25%. However, with the grass such as Switchgrass will     produce more ethanol production. Switchgrass can produce 10757litres/ha. [x]
