All the materials listed below were used to make our hydro-electric dam.

 

-Miter Saw

-Table Saw

-Power/Electric Drill

-Base wood on damn measures 1 foot by

  29.54”

-2 sheets of thin 15” by 15” wood

-2 sheets of wood measuring 16 3/4” by 2” by

 1”

-Fish Pump, mini water pump that is

 submersible( (120 volts/4.5 watts)

-Small Tupperware container (5” by 7.5” by

 3”)

-13 regular popsicle sticks

-Textured spray paint (blue, granite finish)

 340g

-Exacto knife, used to

-Small white plastic bag

-Staple gun (16 mm staples)

-TEW standard copper wire

-Made 6, 45 degree angles to use on the

 dam for supports

-Made a platform that is 4” by 6.5” to hold the

 volt meter

-16 screws

-9/32 drill bit used to drill holes in the power

 poles

-Hot glue gun

-3 glue gun sticks

-1/3 box a tissue box spray painted and cut

 at an angle

-1 roll pin that is 1” in length

-1 red wire at 19”

-1 black wire at 19”

-White propeller with four blades, measuring

 2” by 1.5” each and a 1” circle in the middle

 of the propellers

-1 DC motor converted into a generator that

 is 3/4” by 1” in size

-”Triplet” DC Volt meter

-Soldering gun

-Wire strippers

-Vice

-Blue food colouring (8 drops)
