Final Conclusions
Final ConclusionsRoots
are very important to the development of living plants. They are the first growth
of plants from seeds and because of them, they are able to absorb water and nutrients
into the plant. Along with sunshine, the plants are able to grow and develop its
other parts such as stems and flowers.
In our experiment, we were able to show that roots need water to grow but they
also need just the right amount of water in order to grow properly. The roots
grow in patterns that are controlled by the presence of water. We were also able
to show that the roots direction of growth is determined by gravity; it appears
that roots grow downwards.
