The Experiment

Making Ethanol from Corn

  1. Finely grind corn and add very little water to form a fine paste.
     
  2. Weigh the corn paste and add more ground corn, if needed, until the paste weighs exactly 200 gm.
     
  3. Repeat Steps 3 to 10 as stated above.
     
    • Take care to label the three sets of beakers as Ethanol from Corn - Set #1, Set #2, Set #3
