Objective
| The research objective of my project was to conduct a molecular and chemical assessment on the diversity of 16 faba bean lines, which in return, would be helpful for choosing the lines for feed and forage use. The purpose of the project was to determine the genetic similarity and difference of those faba bean lines, and to find out which condensed tannin precursor, catechin or epicatechin, exists in the seed coat that accounts for making the condensed tannins. |
