INTRODUCTION

Astronomy greatly interests me.  It started to intrigue me when I was very young.  It is fascinating to learn about places in our universe, other than Earth.  Astronomy is exciting because astronomers are always finding new things.  We will never know everything about the universe.  My name is Jacqueline.  I will be looking closely at our solar system and also at the possible existence of other solar systems.  One thing I was questioning prior to my research was the likelihood of Mars having conditions necessary to support living things.  After reading my information, I would like everyone to have a thorough understanding of the solar system we live in and to realize how tiny Earth is compared to the rest of the Universe.
