Source of Idea: During the summer of 2005 I went on a road trip to Yellowstone National Park and I was fascinated by the thermal features and everything else the park had to offer. I decided I wanted to learn more about the park, how it was created and about the thermal features within the park.
Summary: This project examines Yellowstone's fascinating, not to mention explosive, volcanic history. Yellowstone : The Hot Spot explores the types of thermal features and the caldera creation millions of years ago by explaining these topics, and many more, in great detail.
