  • I chose to do this because I was wondering how coal lights houses because coal is a mineral.

  • I am creating a project on how coal lights my house using pictures and several other materials.

Problem
  • How is it possible for coal to travel to my house and it light up?

Hypothesis
  • I think coal is found at a coal mine then a system of transportation is used to take it down to a generator/generation system that burns it to make electricity then it goes through wires to a transformer then to my home then it will light up.

  • After the electrical current is done being put into a lower voltage it travels through one more transmission line, then to my home.

Conclusion
  • I now know how coal lights different homes using lots of things. I think I learned a lot from doing this project and I hope you did from reading it too.
