Question
Will Penicillium Digatatum Mold grow on non-citrus fruits? And will Penicillium Roqueforti Mold grow on any fruit at all?
Hypothesis
We think that Penicillium Digatatum will grow on non-citrus fruits, and we think that Penicillium Roqueforti will grow on fruit.
Materials:
A thermometer
A microscope
Blue cheese
1 orange with the Mold Penicillium Digatatum already on it
4 types of fruit (apple, orange, banana and kiwi.)
16 container’s with lids
15ml of water per container
Q-tips
1 large rubber made box with a lid
And a warm room (average temperature 20 ˚C).
Method
We took the fruit and cut them in half.
