Conclusion
My hypothesis was correct. The smaller lifter achieved less thrust than the larger lifter, and had a smaller thrust to weight ratio. However, the difference was not very large, so it can be concluded that size minimally affects thrust.

I also discovered that a larger gap between the foil and wire increases the efficiency of the lifter, or the thrust produced for a given input power. However, and since I performed my tests using only 3 different gap spacings, it is difficult to tell if this trend can be extrapolated for gaps that are much greater or much smaller than the ones I used in this experiment.

Another interesting phenomenon I discovered while doing my testing is that the power and thrust seem to be linearly related. I do not believe that anyone else has discovered this. This may be the key to developing better lifters in the future.
