About Our Project

This is an English language descriptive research project about diamonds. Our team has five members and we are all in grade three. We are interested in diamonds because we knew that diamonds are being discovered in our province (Saskatchewan) and because of how valuable they are. Diamonds are interesting because they are made by the earth and because of what happens to them when they are taken out of the earth.

To learn about diamonds we visited places that find diamonds and places that sell diamonds. We read books and searched the internet for information. We had meetings at our houses from January to May to talk about what we were going to do and about our website. We wrote our articles, made pictures, and with our parent's help made a Virtual Science Fair website. We used a digital camera to take pictures of our trips, a scanner to scan our pictures and Adobe Photoshop to fix our pictures and Adobe GoLive to make the website

We hope you like our Diamonds Around the World website.
