Abstract: |
The
benefits of hydrogen fuel cells include; no green house gases, no air
pollutants, more energy efficient; but there are challenges as well. This
include onboard hydrogen storage due to safety, cold weather operations due
to the presence of water, and even public acceptance to the new technology.
Our project focused on the problem of on board hydrogen by producing and
using hydrogen as required .The purpose of the project was to synthesis
hydrogen and oxygen using readily available chemicals for direct use in the
hydrogen fuel cell. The hydrogen fuel cell would then power a small motor
which would rotate a set of wheels. |
