Step 1 !
Label the jars 1 through 6 and fill the bottom of each jar with 1 inch of sand.

Step 2 !
Fill each jar with the purified water, leaving 1 inch of air space between the water and the top of the jar.
Step 3 !
Place a thermometer inside each jar so that you can read it. Then, place two aquarium plants in each of the jars
labeled 1, 2, 3, and 4. Make sure the plant root are buried in the sand.
Step 4 !
Screw the lids on tightly onto each of the jars, and set them together in a safe place in your house.
They shouldn't be put in direct sunlight, and shouldn;t be kept at room temperature.
Step 6 !
Record the date and time of day in your journal, and also write a description of the general conditions of the plants,
snails, and water in the jars. Record these conditions and others for 14 days.
