1.             The sunlight hits the solar cell

2.             As the light hits the cell, electrons[a solar car’s electricity]   “jump” from one state to another

3.             The electric connecters in the solar cell, captures these electrons and uses them as electricity. The electricity then goes directly to an electric motor powering the vehicle, or to a special storage battery.
