If we set the slope at 60 degrees then it will produce the most energy because we believe that if we set the angle much more the water will hit the turbine wrong and will cause it to slow down and produce less energy. Also if the slope is not steep enough the water may not have enough speed and will turn the turbine fast enough to produce the most energy.
