Our problem was to see what degree of slope (Penstock) can produce the most energy? We thought that if we set the slope at 60 degrees it would produce the most energy because we believe that if we set the angle much more the water will hit the turbine wrong and will cause it to slow down and produce less energy. Our prediction was incorrect and we found out that a 50 degree slope made more energy than a 60 degree slope producing an average of 4.07 volts. The 60 degree slope made the second highest number of volts making 3.92 volts. One thing we tried to control is keeping the generator as dry as possible because if it gets too wet it may start to produce less energy. We think that our experiment couldn’t be changed much and we both think it is the best we could do. In the real world, our experiment is already being used for producing energy throughout this country.
