Watching TV can lead to becoming over-weight because you don’t need to participate physically in the activities and also because people like to eat junk food and drink pop in front of the TV.

TV encourages us to have an unhealthy lifestyle by showing people eating junk food, drinking alcohol or smoking.

The more kids watch TV, the less time they spend reading, exercising, going for walks, and playing educational games. That’s why it is good to set limits on the amount of time children are allowed to watch TV.
