TV makes you feel that you’re living an adventure. There is always something interesting for everybody on TV. There are cartoons, sports events, science programs, and of course different kinds of movies.

TV sets come in all shapes and sizes. There are huge and tiny ones.

There are even colourful TVs for kids.

However, TV also has its negative side. It can give you eye problems. It stops you from going out and playing with your friends. It makes you want to buy things even if you don’t need them. It can make you tired and unable to focus on your lessons. It can even make you addicted.

I chose this topic because I thought I would learn why my parents don’t let me watch more than half an hour a day. I also wanted to find out if TVs have more positive or more negative effects.
I gathered information from two books and the Internet.
