Summary:
We chose the topic Snowflakes. We chose this because being Canadian and all it sounded like a good idea, because of all the snow we get. We wanted to find out if there was different kinds, shape, if the wind blew a certain way, and interesting things like that. All the information we found we never realized how many different things there really where about snowflakes. It all depends on the temperature they wall at and the way the window blows. A snowflakes starts out as a dust particle. Then is grows into a hexagon everything starts working together. We found out a lot of neat stuff about snow, things that you would have never thought of. We also had a lot of fun researching this project, we both thought it would a good and fun idea to do. We worked hard on this project and to find all the information and we feel confident about all that we found out. We both enjoyed the Science Fairs in Ogema and Fillmore. We both liked telling people what we found out and explaining all the different types of snowflakes there are. Snow isn't just a beautiful blanket that covers the earth's surface, its a great insulator. Finding out about all this information was very fun for both of us and we worked hard to find out what we wanted to know. We hope you enjoy our project about snowflakes!
