Summary: I tested at what angle rocks slid using an apparatus that I built to see if the type of material and roughness of the surface affected the angle at which rocks slid.

Source of the idea for my project: My uncle told me that I might be able to make an apparatus similar to the ones geotechnical engineers use to study friction between sliding rocks.
