There were four bulbs planted, each in one pot. Three pots were covered with saran wrapping paper and each of them had a different colour; one had red, one had purple, and the last had yellow. One pot was left without any wrapping paper. The point of this experiment was to discover whether or not the colour of lights effects the growth of plants. My hypothesis was “If plants are to grown under different colour then the growth will not be the same”. This experiment lasted exactly 6 weeks and my hypothesis was wrong.

This graph shows the growth of the four plants over the 6 weeks. It also shows the average growth.
The biggest difference between the plants at a point of time that was record is 2.4 centimetres. After 6 weeks, the difference is only 2.1 centimetres which is the amount that wasn’t expected for my hypothesis since I expected the height be varied a lot from one plant to another.
