Summary:
Do you have any idea what goes down your drain and causes pollution? You may be surprised after you read my report on detergents and their impact on the environment. The reason I chose detergents was because they are part of our life everyday: people do many loads of laundry a week, people wash their cars and use in the dishwasher everyday. The waste water goes down the drain into the sewage plant and directly in to the ocean, seas, rivers and lakes causing pollution.
I researched negative things detergents do to the environment, found ways to
reduce, eliminate the problem of detergents and conducted a science experiment
to find the effects of watering different plants with 3 different kinds of
detergents.
