- Cell wall = building structure
- Plasma Membrane = paint on inside
walls
- Cytoplasm = hallways
- Organelles = classrooms
- Central Vacuole = bathrooms
- Nucleus = main office and/or the principal's
office

My Analogy of a
Nerve Cell is the city of Saskatoon.
- Dendrites = secondary highways
- Axon = Louis Riel highway (main highway to
capital city)
- Cell Membrane = Circle Drive
- Cytoplasm = roads
- Organelles = civic facilities
- Nucleus = City Hall

My Analogy of
an Animal Cell is a park.
- Plasma Membrane = fence and/or tree
line
- Flagellum ( Flagella) = sprinkler
system
- Cytoplasm = sand and/or grass
- Organelles = play ground (swings, slides,
etc.)
- Nucleus = paddling
